Resident of Sunnyvale
Ruth peacefully completed her journey here on earth at her home in Sunnyvale.
She was born in San Diego to Angel and Rita (Casares) Lopez. Ruth grew up in Imperial Beach and completed her education at Mar Vista High School.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Antonio, Angel, Alfonso and husband Jurii Klonizchii. She is survived by her husband Michael Murray, daughters Linda Ruiz, Carol Anderson and Katherine Klonizchii, sons Steve and Walter Klonizchii. Grandchildren Leticia Ruiz, Louie Ruiz and Natasha Silva. Brothers Raul, David, and Samuel Lopez. Sisters Jovita Holt, Eva Smith and Estella Castro.
Ruth worked in many industries during her lifetime and many years in the Electronics Industry from which she retired . Ruth had a warm, caring, outgoing personality and was a good listener. Couple that with a "megawatt" smile, she made instant friends wherever she traveled. Ruth loved travel, enjoyed gardening, yoga and took immense pleasure in riding her bicycle. She was extremely active and continued to ride her bike past her 80th birthday and until the cancer took away her balance. Ruth was an accomplished rider having toured Europe, Israel, Canada, Mexico and traversed the U.S. several times. Ruth's travels took her all over the world, making many friends along the way.
Friends and Family are invited to attend a Visitation Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 1:00P.M - 5:00P.M at LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY, 1315 Hollenbeck Avenue, Sunnyvale. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11:00A.M at Church of the Resurrection, the corner of Cascade Drive and Hollenbeck Avenue, Sunnyvale.
Ruth was cherished by many and will be dearly missed.Be brave, have heart, do what you love
