Theresa Brandau Obituary

Theresa "Terry" M. Brandau GLENWOOD, VERNON TWP., NJ: Theresa "Terry" M. Brandau, 87 years old, died after a long illness at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, NJ on Friday, March 5, 2004. Born in what was then the Clifton section of Passaic, NJ to the late Nicholas and Theresa Winkler, she resided in West Shokan and Kingston, NY and was a graduate of Kingston High School before moving back to the Passaic, NJ area where she graduated from the Drake Secretarial School and held several secretarial jobs till 1942. She lived in various locations in New Jersey before returning to Clifton, NJ in 1957 and resuming a career as a clerk and then secretary at Shulton, Inc. She retired from American Cyanamid in 1981 and participated in volunteer activities of the various organizations to which she belonged, including the Friends of Clifton Library. Mrs. Brandau is predeceased by three brothers, Edward, Joseph and Lt. Col. Robert Winkler and two sisters, Mary Dwyer and Helen Arthur and is survived by daughter Barbara B. Fescharek and husband Kenneth of Glenwood, NJ; sister Elizabeth Alice Arnold of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sister-in-law Hellen Andersen of Santa Clara, CA and two nephews and three nieces. Funeral arrangements are by FERGUSON-VERNON FUNERAL HOME, 241 Route 94, Vernon, NJ.
