Duane, you were my big brother. You are in a better place now. God is merciful. We all miss you.
This is the peom our Mom had for her funeral service. I think it is appropriate for you now.
I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one,
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
wispering softly down the ways,
Of happy time and laughing
times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who
grieve, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.
Love your little sister Lorie

This is a portion of Duane's favorite Poem;
"I Am a Child of the Universe, no less than the trees and the stars. I have a right to be here..."
...now he is a Child of God.
He will be remembered as the one who liked to do it his way. He was an artist, engineer and a dreamer. Always looking for his dream. I hope he is at peace. Memory Eternal.
His Sister,
