Debbie Batcha Obituary

Debbie Batcha
June 12, 1965 - Oct. 27, 2017
Resident of San Jose
Debbie Batcha was born in Alliance, Ohio on June 12, 1965 the third of four daughters to Regina and Leonard Batcha.  She graduated from Ohio State School of Dentistry in 1989 and moved to California to pursue her dream.  She was the only out-of-state doctor to pass the State Boards on the first try that year.
There was nothing that Debbie loved more than being a dentist.  She loved all her patients and especially enjoyed the relationships she developed with each one.  She enjoyed making dental procedures understandable to her patients and had a knack for making people feel comfortable.  She was frequently heard singing along to the rock music playing in the background.  She truly was a "one and only!"
A private funeral service has been held by the family.  Donations in memory of Debbie can be made to Second Chance German Shepherd Rescue at www.scgsr.org, an organization near and dear to her heart.
No words can adequately express our sadness at Debbie's passing.  She will be deeply missed.

Not sure what to say?

I just moved back from Vancouver, BC and I just now found out that Debbie had passed. I was trying to find her number so that I could make an appointment. Debbie became my Dentist in 1994 and was until 2016 when my insurance changed. She was more than my dentist. A visit to her office was like visiting your sister who was your best friend even though we only saw each other every six months. I will truly miss you Debbie. The world was and is a better place because of the life you lived. Rest In Peace my friends.

Oh My Goodness! It is true - I just heard this news! Words cannot express how much she will be missed - She was the best dentist ever. I was always truly afraid of dentists, but she made me feel comfortable and not afraid of her at all. She was one of kind and so kind and wonderful. While we really only knew each other as patient and doctor, she always made me feel like she was so pleased to see me and little conversations made me feel welcomed. So many prayers for her family and friends, she was such a great person.

Dr. Batcha was my dentist for nearly a quarter of a century. Not many can say this, but I enjoyed seeing my dentist for office visits. Dr. Batcha and I had many great conversations and I'll miss her terribly. Peaceful, healing thoughts to all who loved her.
