John Eugene Savage
November 5, 1927 - July 16, 2018
John Eugene Savage, also known as Pete, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 16, 2018, at ninety years of age. John was born November 5, 1927, in Wellfleet, Nebraska. He was the youngest child of six children born to Henry Earl and Florence May Flower Savage. John moved to Emmett, Idaho, in 1947. He operated a small farm, raised cattle, as well as many other farm animals and was also employed by Boise Cascade until his retirement in 1989. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, former wife Jody Carlock Savage and his stepson, Rick Warner. He is survived by his daughters; Christy (Tim) Moen, Marie (Robert) Miller, and Brenda Savage (Larry Crawford), his grandchildren Mandy (Mike) Nelson, Janele (Josh) Lake, Adam Miller, and Angela Warner Black, great-grandchildren Noah and Cooper Nelson, nephew Jim Johnson (Laura) and numerous other nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Friday July 27, 2018 at New Life Christian Center in Emmett. Services are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel Emmett.
