The Guest Book is expired.

Maureen was born in Beaver, Utah, on July 22, 1933, to Ennis and Erma Hoopes. Maureen attended school in Beaver through the 12th grade.
She left Beaver and went to Salt Lake City and spent two years at the Crossroads Inn, and then she returned to Beaver and met the love of her life, Bill Zufelt. They were married in Las Vegas, Nev., while Bill was serving in the United States Army. During their years of marriage, Maureen and Bill had seven children. The Zufelt family made their final destination in Idaho in 1965.
During Maureen's life she enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, golfing and gambling. The thing that brightened Maureen the most was spending time with her grandchildren. The most memorable time Maureen had in the end was the surprise 80th birthday party that her children put together for her in July.
Maureen is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Rayma Brown and Dorothy Ruska; brother Roy Hoopes; grandchild Kenneth Bridwell and great grandchild Bodie Garrett-Burlile; son-in-law Dale Bridwell; and brother-in-law Dean Webb.
She is survived by husband Bill Zufelt; children, Linda Burlile (Jack), Jackie Bridwell (Bob), Ronnie Zufelt, Rick Zufelt (Bobbi), Bob Zufelt (Karen), Don Zufelt (Mary) and Monte Zufelt (Teresa); 19 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; two special sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 14, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett, Idaho. Burial followed at the Sweet Cemetery in Sweet, Idaho.
The family would like to extend a great thank you to Horizon Home and Hospice for the great care that they provided to Maureen and family during this time.
