Larry Droppers was born in Bozeman, Mont., on April 25, 1944.
He attended Manhattan Montana Schools through his high school graduation in 1962. He attended Montana State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce in 1966. Larry joined the Army and served in Vietnam. When he returned in 1969, he met Judy Ann Tilley and they were married in 1970.
Larry started working at the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital in 1971 and worked there until 1987. Larry became a father when his daughter Marci was born in 1974. The family moved to Miles City in 1987 and he worked at the hospital there until 1998.
The family relocated to Emmett, Idaho, where Larry worked at Walter Knox Memorial Hospital from 1998 to 2012.
Larry passed away on Nov. 12, 2012. He was a member of the Emmett Rotary Club for many years.
Larry is survived by his wife, Judy Droppers; daughter, Marci Harris; grandson, Sean Chad Harris; his sisters, Pat Cooper and Carolyn Phillips; his brother, Dave Droppers; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Parkview Cemetery in New Plymouth. The viewing will be Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, from 3 until 8 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett.
Memorials may be made to the Emmett Rotary Foundation 1100 S. Washington Ave., Emmett, ID 83617, to help children in Emmett.
