Joyce Lucille Bishop was born March 15, 1939, to Leo and Bessie Radandt. She passed away Nov. 29, 2012.
In 1957 she married her soul mate, Earl Bishop and together they raised their four children. Mom spent her entire life in the country where life was quiet and simple. She loved the simple things in life and cherished the time she spent with her family. She was an avid collector of trinkets and knick knacks and early on she created numerous pieces of ceramics. Her detail for perfection shined in the immaculate home she kept for her family. We will always remember her as the sassy little mom who gave us our inner strength and courage. She was very ill the last few months of her life, but in mom's true fashion, she fought until the very end.
She leaves behind her husband of 55 years, Earl, who stood by her side and took care of her until the end; her four children, Penny (Steve), Lori (Jerry), Kimberly (Cody) and Russell; two wonderful sisters, Joan (Casey) and Joni (Dan); and her little brother, Jerry (Ricky); eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who were like grandchildren to her.
Rest in peace momma, your frail little body is in God's hands now.
The family will hold an open house in celebration of Joyce's life Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, from 2 to 5 at Cold Mountain Creek in Emmett, Idaho.
