Andrew Lashenske Obituary

Andrew John Lashenske, 77, died Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Born in Gardner, MA on Mar 30, 1941, he was son of the late John J. Lashenske & Amelia Mary Matuleurcz Lashenske. Andrew graduated from Boston College with a BA degree in 1963; he then served in the US Air Force from 1963 to 1967 attaining the rank of Captain with the Military Police. After graduating from Suffolk Law School he practiced landlord tenant law in Cambridge. Andrew loved all sports and played both basketball and softball for St. Patrick's teams for over 30 years. He also loved his garden and was proud of his many tomatoes and other vegetables. He was also an avid bicyclist and biked back and forth from Natick to Cambridge and was active at the Senior Center in Natick with special interests of Foss and Veterans activities. Andrew is survived by his wife Patricia of 50 years, and their three children: Julie Lashenske of Natick, Andrew J. Lashenske Jr. and his wife Liz in China and Karen Lashenske and her husband John Bannon of Portland Oregon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Tuesday evening January 8, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common. Visiting hours will be held prior to service from 6:00-6:45 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be private in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to a charity of your choice in Andrew's name.
