It was with shock and sadness that I learned of Linda's death. Unfortunately, I didn't find out until the following week. I had the pleasure of working with Linda at Williams Insurance many years ago. We had a lot of wonderful times together. Even though we lost touch, I remember it all as if it were yesterday. My heart goes out to her family and friends. Matt & David; your mother loved you beyond words.
God Bless.

I would like to say Thank You to all of LINDAS TRUE FRIENDS who came to pay their respects.
I for one miss her alot for my heart is broken and my home is empty without her.
Linda was a very special gal who lived her life on her terms. She always had a warm smile, never found fault with anyone and she had a special way she walked. You could pick her out of a crowd with the way her hair would bounce. She was unique and I for one miss her alot.
My home is empty without her but her sister Terry told me that TIME will heal all wounds.
If anyone would like to write to me I'd like that very much for TRUE friends are hard to come by and LINDA did have a lot.

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Ms. Linda Lou many years back at Williams Insurance Agency..The moment she walked in that door I knew with that smile and sense of humor she would fit in wonderfully...over the years all of us girls shared our families ,our love, our thoughts, our laughter, our tears. our birthdays , our Christmas parties..our friendship...Linda lived life to the fullest with that smile, her sense of humor, her sense of adventure..her love for her family was so evident with her board filled with family pictures...those years went by fast..just recently Linda Lou and I reconnected via phone and internet it was as though no time had passed..It was my pleasure to have her back in my life again...we laughed and reminisce about our times at the agency ..her sons were the twinkle in her eyes and that smile said it all...she was one of a kind...forever young and beautful she is at peace awaiting our arrival one day where we will laugh again...Matt and David all my love and to Linda Lou..you will never be forgotten ..till we see each other again...

Auntie Linda I love you, I will always remember the good times we all had. I will remember watching the boys when I was younger and how I was always happy to babysit for you. I loved going camping with you, and always enjoyed the family stories, because no one could tell them like you. I can only pray that Gram, Nancy and you are enjoying a few laughs up there.
Matt/David- I love you guys, and am so sorry that you lost your mom.

I had not seen Linda in years but I do remember times on Bond St or hanging out at 7-11. She was always such a great person with a beautiful smile. I never heard her say a bad word about anyone or anything - such a positive person with a huge heart.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family especially her boys. May all family and friends be comforted at this time and be forever greatful for having known such a wonderful Lady!

Matthew,
With deepest sympathy to you on the passing of your mom. You were there for her during her last and final moments here on earth.
You were remembered at mass this morning and on behalf of myself, my pastor, Rev. Ed Cardente and the entire parish community of St Anthonys Church in North Providence, we extend our deepest sympathies. Take comfort knowing her suffering is now over and indeed as you beautifully said, she is your guardian angle.
What a beautiful remembrance of how your mother played such an important role in your life. You spoke to truly of your bond you shared. Keep all those memories alive and know all you shared is nothing lost. She will remain in your heart forever.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.
Your friend,
Gregg Vallee
Matt,
Take comfort in the beautiful passage from Johns Gospel,
John 14, verses 1-6 …
“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
Amen
Rest in peace Linda

Matt and David I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom had a a way of lighting up a room with her smile. I can honestly say I never heard her utter a bad word about anyone. My last memory of her was at my dads cookout last labor day. We had a great time playing volleyball . She looked so happy and her love for you both showed in the way she looked at you. She will be watching over you and smiling like only she can!!! Rest in peace Linda

Mom,
I just want you to know that you have been the best mother I could have ever asked for. You have taught me so much throughout my life, and you have been there for me at all times of my life, good and bad. I know you will remain with me throughout all those times, as you watch over me with Grammy and Auntie Nancy. Thank you for all the great memories throughout the years, and especially in your last few weeks when you took charge to get everybody together for a few special good times that I will never forget. I am going to miss you SOO much. I'm still having a difficult time believing all of this. Its just hard to think I will never be able to call you to talk or have you call me to see how I am doing. I know you are in a better place now, and we will all be together again some day. Until then, I know I have a very special angel watching over me wherever I go in life. I will always love you mom, and I will always feel your love back. Rest in peace <3

Through our tears we will remember our happiness in knowing you. Playing volleyball at your house on Bond Street, the cut throat Pitch games at Terry and Paul's house down the Cape. Your generous spirit, always giving whatever you can. I'll remember your happiness this last Memorial Day when you were goofing around with your sons in the pool - I'll remember our last conversation where I was trying to convince you to come to Bingo with us...

Linda,
I will always cherish the memories we had growing up together. I have been thinking about all the times we danced and sang, recording ourselves on that silly cassette recorder. The kickball games and flashlight tag and swimming in the summer. Oh and who can forget the spaghetti dinners with Ragu. You were a good friend and I am going to miss you. Rest in peace my dear friend.
Love,
Lisa
