My sincere condolences to the entire Saxe family.
Huck was a good friend of my Dad's; they had a lot in common as both were WWII vets who served in the Pacific theater. I have a lot of memories of Huck at the Outdoor Store. Huck sold us (my Dad) the .22 long rifle that I and my sister used in target shooting competitions when we were kids.

I am so sad to learn of Huck's passing. It seems like it was only yesterday that Alan and Miki Goodkin and I were on Hemlock Drive or Alan and I were hanging out at the store on Washington Street. Huck thanks for the memories and thanks for your service and sacrifice.

Mike, my condolences to you and your family. I got to know Huck when I was about 9 years old, when I started going to the Outdoor Store to buy fishing gear. For years I enjoyed his advice on fishing and outdoor pursuits. He was a kind and patient man, and very helpful to me.

Dear Mike and family,

On behalf of the Natick High class of 1968, I would like to extend our sincere sympathy on the loss of your Dad, "Huck", who many of us knew well from our adventures at the Natick Outdoor Store. I still recall when I bought my first surfboard from him (in 1966) when the Outdoor Store was on Washington Street. He was a wonderful man, and will be missed by all.
