Patricia A. Dinkin Obituary
Patricia A. (Merchant) Dinkin, 84, of Milford passed away Thursday Feb. 7, 2019 in UMass/Memorial Hospital, Worcester. She was the wife of Donna L. (Hedstrom) Gaudette. Patricia was an administrative secretary at the former Digital Equipment Corp. for many years, retiring in 1997 and had been a resident of Milford for the past 5 years. Previously, she had lived in Hudson for 52 years. She was born December of 1934 in Gloucester, the daughter of Florence T. (Knowles) Merchant of Gloucester and the late Hugh D. Merchant. Pat enjoyed an occasional trip to Foxwoods Casino for a hand in Poker. She enjoyed all card games and playing MahJong with dear friends and family. She was an artist and painted in oils. She was passionate about yard sales and would diligently plan her weekend around the best route to maximize her travels to the different sales. She also loved her miniature schnauzers, Lily and Stella. In addition to her partner and wife Donna of 36 years and her mother, Florence , she is survived by her 3 children; Donna Robbin Dinkin and her husband Sylvester Taylor of Greensboro, NC, Cheryl L. Dinkin and her husband Daniel Graham of Boylston and David L. Flynn of E. Stroudsburg, PA; a sister, Harriet and her husband Robert LoPiccolo of Gloucester; 4 grandchildren, Samantha, Joseph, Noah and Shawn, 2 great-grandchildren, Paisley and Quinn and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Monday February 18, 2019 from 11 AM | 12 PM in the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Rte. 85, Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA, 1300 West Elm Street Ext., Brockton, MA 02301. www.bumafuneralhome.com.
