Sally (Ballo) Morreale of Waltham, passed away, surrounded by her loving family on Monday evening January 7th, 2019. She was 95 years old. Sally was born December 14, 1923 in Waltham; the daughter of the late Salvatore and Cologera (Terrasi) Ballo. A graduate of Waltham High School, she was a lifelong resident of the city. Along with her husband of 64 years, the late Vincent C. Morreale, Sr., Sally co-founded MorReal Sewing Machine Center, a Waltham landmark for more than five decades. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Parish, member of the Holy Rosary Guild, and co-founder and administrator of the 311 Club, a charitable organization to benefit the church. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, an amazing cook, and an accomplished artist. Sally is survived by her devoted & loving children, Carmen J. Morreale and his wife, Helen of Derry, NH, Susanne Morreale Leeber and her partner Bill Rocco of Clinton, Maryann Marzakis of Framingham, and Vincent C. Morreale Jr. and his wife, Mandy of Prospect, KY, her sister Josephine Papia of NH, and sister-in-laws Rose Ballo of FL and Louise Ballo of Waltham. She is also survived by her 9 cherished grandchildren, 13 adoring great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother-in-law, preceded in death by the late Dennis Marzakis and Sandra Morreale. Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in celebration of Sallys Life from the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 773 Moody Street, Waltham, MA on Friday morning Jan. 11th at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 920 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Brasco & Sons Funeral Home on Thursday Jan. 10th from 4-8 p.m. Parking attendants on duty. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Sallys memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute Jimmy Fund, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215
