Tyler Frank Hogan, 27, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at his residence in Wayland. He was born on May 18, 1994 in Natick the son of James B. Hogan, Jr and Cheryl C. (Gordon) Hogan both of Wayland. Besides his parents, he is survived by his cherished children; Laylah Hogan and Connor Hogan. Brother of John Malieswski of Wayland; Timothy Hogan of Wayland; Daniel Hogan of Lakeville and Dylan Hogan of Wayland. Grandson of George Gordon and his partner Samantha Brown of Newbury, NH. Nephew of Michael and Kathy Gordon of Weston; Bonnie Gordon of Midvale, UT; David Gordon and his spouse JayR of Las Vegas, NV; Paul and Donna Hogan of North Attleboro; Anne and Peter Kobbs of Townsend and Brenda and Scott DePersis of East Sandwich. Also survived by many loving cousins including the late John Delaney. Grandson of the late Rita and Arthur Warren and the late James and Anne Hogan. Tyler has been a life long resident of Wayland and attended the Wayland School System. He graduated from the Dearborn Academy in Arlington with the Class of 2014. He has been associated as a Mechanics Assistant at Kendal Green Service Center in Weston. He was quite savvy with electronics and mechanical projects. He enjoyed water sports especially wakeboarding on Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire. He spent his youth playing baseball and football in Wayland. Tyler was the kind of person who would help anybody in need and would be the first to volunteer his time doing for others. He also assisted his Dad in renovations at their residence. Tyler was a devoted father to his children and will be fondly remembered for all the acts of kindness he showed to others. Visitations will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00 am followed by his funeral service at 11:00 am at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rt. 30) Wayland. Interment will follow in the Hogan family lot in North Cemetery in Wayland. In lieu of flowers, his family kindly suggests that memorial gifts in Tyler's memory may be sent to Erin's Law, 847 S.
