Clara Particelli Obituary

Clara T. Kate Particelli, 82, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at Metro-West Medical Center, Framingham, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of 39 years to the late Paul Louis Particelli. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Matilde (Yarmatino) Varriale. For over 20 years she worked at her brother's jewelry store, Pinefield Jewelers in Framingham. Mrs. Particelli volunteered reading books to children at the Potter Road School in Framingham and also volunteered at the Callahan Senior Center in Framingham. Mrs. Particelli is survived by seven children, Gregg Particelli and his wife, Laura, of Framingham, Andrea Colello of Framingham, Chris Particelli and his wife, Eileen, of Ashland, Gerald Particelli of Framingham, Donna Doody and her husband, Stephen, of Framingham, Carla Morris and her husband, Robert of North Carolina, and Maria Lussier of Bedford, N.H.; 10 grandchildren, Corey Blackwell, Matthew and Mark Particelli, Heather Carleton, Brian and Julie Particelli, Chris, Eric and Alexandra Doody and Katie Lussier. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alfonzo, Oscar, Charles and Joseph Varriale. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Saturday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m., at St. George Church, 74 School St., Framingham. Burial will follow at noon, in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. At the familys request, there will be no funeral home visiting hours. Arrangements are under the care of the Norton Funeral Home (www.nortonfuneralhome.com), Framingham. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Marcels Way, P.O. Box 392, New Boston, NH 03070.
