Della A. Wolschleger, 95 of Parisville, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe. She was born on Jan. 6, 1923, to the late Joseph and Frances (Smielewski) Nowiski. Della married Vincent F. Wolschleger on April 26, 1941, at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church in Harbor Beach. They farmed together until he passed away on March 9, 1980. Della was a graduate of the Schulte Country School. She was a former parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helena. After moving to Parisville in 1966, she became a parishioner at St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a member and former office for the St. Mary Rosary Sodality and the St. Mary Seniors Citizen's. Della enjoyed traveling, playing cards and bingo and visiting with family and friends. Della is survived by two sons William Wolschleger of Warren and Ronald (Donna) Wolschleger of Harbor Beach; her grandchildren Greg (Julia) Wolschleger, Eric (Dawn) Wolschleger, Carey Wolschleger, Kimberly (Bob) Menominee, Brian Kosal and his special friend Becky Jones, Linda (Terry) Schember, Kurt (Jennifer) Wolschleger, Tina (Greg) Sweeney, Dan (JaNiece) Wolschleger, Tom (Dr. Leslie, PhD) Wolschleger, Stacey (Chris) Hazel, Melissa (Sean) Geistler, Dr. Michelle (Dr. John, MD.) Lucia, MD, Sheila (Dr. Doug, PhD) Gornowich; great-grandchildren Sean, Justin, Haley, Nathan, Samantha, Shane (Ashley), Sarah (Greg), Stephanie (fiancé, Brandon), Tegan, Lailah, Grayson, Ashley, Ryan, Katelyn, Kyle, Ava, Laney, Noah, Alexander, Giselle, Gianna, Zachary, Vincent, Sadie, Sidney, Brady, Corey (spec. friend, Sophia), Courtney (Jimmy), Maddie, Macie, Cece, Max, Isabelle and Ainsley; great-great-grandchildren Katlynn, Jailie, Melanie, Zachary, Brooklyn and Breanna; one sister Virginia Leisse; in-laws Albert and Helen Wolschleger, Benedict and Evangeline Wolschleger. She was preceded in death by her daughter Diana Jackson; daughter-in-law Jean Wolschleger; grandson Joseph Kosal; great-granddaughter April Menominee; great-great-granddaughter Brooklyn Drayton; her siblings, infant brother, Raymond Nowiski, Clarence (Minnie) Nowiski, Norman (Margaret) Nowiski; sisters Margaret (Sylvester) Groll, Marian (Harry) Mausolf; brothers in-law and sisters-in-law, Harry Leisse, Jerome (Mary) Wolschleger, Leonard (Gertrude) Wolschleger, Ed (Jen) Wolschleger, Denis (Rosemary) Wolschleger, Norman (Deloris) (Doris) Wolschleger, Irvin (Marie) Kubacki, Melvin (Leona) Ziskie. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 20 at St. May Catholic Church, St. Isidore Parish in Parisville. Rev. Todd Arnberg, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church only from 10 a.m. until the mass at 11 a.m. There will be a rosary by the St. Isidore Rosary Sodality at 4 p.m. and a parish vigil service Thursday evening at 7 p.m. Both services will be at the funeral home. Memorials have been requested to Our Lady of Lake Huron School in Harbor Beach or the family discretionary fund.
