Linda - I remember your mother being one of the "room mothers" who, along with the teachers, accompanied the students on day trips in elementary school as well as being involved in other school functions. I send wishes of peace to you and your family.

It is with great sorrow that I have learned of Thelmas passing. I have such memories of always enjoying conversation and kind heart at the many church functions from my youth. She was always so kind to the ornery young kid that I was. The smile in the obit picture captures her perfectly and I have joy knowing she and Tommy will now be eternally together. The family can rest easier knowing their examples of strength and righteousness, and the many pleasant memories Im sure you have.

Thelma was truly a wonderful person. Someone to try to emulate. We will miss her just as much as we have missed Tommy Sartin. Both good friends and neighbors. I admired them as individuals and as a couple. They both set a precedent for how people should treat one another and for how to be a loving couple. As you know there is air around you and earth below your feet, I know Thelma and Tommy are large and in charge in heaven. Gods right hand couple.

I was sorry to hear about Thelma - I remember her from way back - with Miss Lillian and my grandmother. Then going to school with both Linda and Barbara. I remember your Dad with his tractor and wagon giving hay rides over at the St Georges Historical May fairs. I have to work Saturday but you will be in my thoughts.

My condolences to Barbara, Linda and family. Aunt Thelma was such an awesome lady and will be missed by many. I am just thankful for the time I had with her and Uncle Tommy growing up in Delaware. The saving grace is knowing that they are together once again and I know that they will watch over your families.
Thoughts and prayers are with you, Rick Spicer and family
