Mary was one of the sweetest, most beautiful people I've ever met. She made a positive difference in the lives of many.

We have fond memories of Mary over the years when we were visiting Freddie and Ellen in DeKalb. She was always so kind. Once Michael got talking to Mary about her memories of his mother. He asked if she could write them down for him. She mailed him a 10 page letter of memories. She sent wonderful Christmas cards, too. We send our love and sincere condolences to the wonderful Pecilunas family. Linda and Michael Gutesha

Paul, Mark, Jim and the Pecilunas family,
I was very taken aback late yesterday, when my sister called me to inform me of Marys passing. When I think of Mary, I can still vividly see her vibrant and infectious smile. It seems like only yesterday . . .
May peace be with you during this unfortunate time.

"Miss Mary" and I worked together in the 3 y.o. room at The Growing Place. I loved working with her as she was so calm, sweet, and had a great sense of humor! I was prone to misplacing things and Mary would say "it'll turn up eventually!" I still misplace things and still hear Mary 's voice. Rest in peace dear one.
