CARI ANN DRESSEL GOODGAME
Cari Ann Dressel Goodgame, age 61, a loving wife, daughter, sister and friend passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. She was born on June 21, 1959 in Vallejo, Calif. to Robert and Paula Nevins Dressel.
Cari graduated from Needles High School, Class of 1978. She went off to the big city of Redlands to attend Cosmetology school only to find out that wasn't her cup of tea. She then went back to school to become a Dental Assistant, where she worked until 2017; four years after a diagnosis of Colon Cancer.
She married Steve Goodgame on October 5, 2002 in the great outdoors of Grapevine Canyon. They cared for many beautiful animals; horses, dogs, cats, ferrets and wild birds.
Cari had a great passion for the outdoors. She loved horses, from the time her parents placed her on a horse at the age of six months. She also loved hiking, kayaking and rescuing animals of all sorts. She was known for her laughter, infectious smile, and ability to talk to anyone: as well as her kind, wild, compassionate spirit. Even though she had this wild spirit, she loved God with all her heart and soul. Her faith ran strong and was an encouragement to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Freeman and Thelma Dressel; and George and Opal Nevins.
Cari is survived by her husband, Steve and son Devon; father and mother, Bob and Paula; brother, Greg Dressel and sister-in-law, Willow Dressel; sister, Jodi Dressel Miller; mother-in-law, Teddie Goodgame; sister-in-law, Debbie and Pete Caroeccia; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held January 2, 2021 in Mohave Valley, Ariz. A private graveside service was held on December 11, 2020 at Desert Lawn Funeral Home.
