On Friday, March 5, 2021, Kristin Lynn Brooks took her final breath, peacefully, with her mother by her side.
The sun rose and the world welcomed Kristin February 9, 1986, a day the world became a little brighter. Kristin of Greeley, Colo. was born in Needles, Calif. She was the daughter of Carl (Barbara) Brooks and Betsy (Keith) Arizaga Conant. Kristin lived a full and warm life, filled with joy, happiness and kindness. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ruben Arizaga, Sr. and Robert "Bob" Brooks; grandmother, Ruth Brooks; niece, Audrey Brooks; Mackenzie's brother, Anthony Vici; and step-mother, Barbara Brooks.
She is survived by her daughter, Mackenzie, Marissa Vici and Justice Vici; parents, Carl Brooks of Greeley, Colo. and Betsy (Keith) Arizaga Conant of Commerce City, Colo.; brothers, Christopher (Jasmine) Brooks of Fort Mohave, Ariz., Robert (Angela) Brooks of Aurora, Colo. and Dylan Conant of Commerce City, Colo.; grandmother, Mary Arizaga of Bullhead City, Ariz.; nieces, Baylee Brooks, Aleena Morales, Paisley Brooks, Emily Brooks and Penelope Brooks; nephews, Braydon Bonnett and Christopher Brooks, Jr.; aunts, Cathy (Rich) Gillett, Janet Brooks, Susan (Grady) Peake and Barbara Marquez; uncles, Alan Brooks, Ruben (Janet) Arizaga, Richard Arizaga and Daniel Brooks; as well as many cousins.
Memorial services will be held at the Church of Nazarene in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
