Thomas Patrick Anderson, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at his home in Bullhead City, Ariz. He was born in Saint Paul, Minn. to Knute and Dorothea Anderson on March 26, 1941.
He met Kathleen Robinson and they were married on April 28, 1962, making their home in South St. Paul, Minn. where they raised two sons.
Tom had a lifelong career at the Chicago Northwestern/Union Pacific Railroad and retired. After retirement they moved to sunny Bullhead City, Ariz. where Tom loved to landscape and work on his beautiful yard. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing in Florida with his son, and camping. Yearly he looked forward to elk hunting with his lifelong friends and sons in Colo.; oh the stories he could tell.
Tom was a huge NASCAR race fan and traveled to Talladega and many other states to watch the races. Many a Sunday you would find him home with a shrimp cocktail, etc. watching the race. Tom and Kathy lived life to the fullest. They have great neighbors and friends and loved to spend time at the casino and in Las Vegas.
He was a loving husband of almost 59 years on April 28, 2021. We called him dad, friend and grandpa, but mostly Pa Pa Man from the Ghetto. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; sons, Michael (Janet) and Kevin (Heidi); sister, Elizabeth Axtman; three grandchildren, Mariah Kathleen, Travis Michael and Mary Jane; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He will be truly missed by all who knew him, but mostly by his "partner in crime", Kathy.
Arrangements were handled by Desert Lawn Funeral Home.
