Mr. Machado was the Vice President when I was crowned Big Queen of the FDES of Monterey in 1980. He was a proud man and always greeted you with a smile. My thoughts and prayers to the family. DeDe Duncan-Valenzuela (youngest granddaughter of Marie & John Gulart)

I will always remember my dear uncle Manuel with a smile. He was always a joy to visit and always the first to come by when you needed a hand. A man full of warmth, kindness and humor. He will truly be missed and always be loved.

God blessed me with a wonderful man whom I was proud to call my Vovo. We held each other when Vava died and now you can hold each other once again. I will forever miss and love you until eternity.
My deepest sympathy to your wonderful family.
