Alan Marcus
September 1, 2011
Very sorry to hear of David's death; he was a very quizzical observer of the many follies of his fellow man, a admirable poet, with many surprising resources of knowledge, with whom I had many over-the-fence gallows-humor chuckles over the primitive footprints of our still adolescent country, and its seemingly incorrible regressive blunders & history. I see him with a rake in his hand and a twinkle in his eyes & bid him a fond adieu. With affectionate condolences to his dear wife, Barbara. From the Marcus family.
