Suzanne Helene Crivello
April 25, 1930 - March 8, 2018
Resident of Seaside
Suzanne Helene Crivello passed away peacefully in her home on March 8th, 2018, at the age of 87. She was born on April 25th, 1930, in Castiglione, Algeria, the north coast of Africa and was of French decent. There she met the love of her life, Vincent Crivello and they married in 1948. There, they were blessed with 3 children and in 1956 moved to the United States and had 2 more children. She was naturalized in 1966 and was proud of her achievement of becoming an American yet loved her French heritage.
Suzanne aka Helene was a devoted mother. In our hearts she will always be remembered as the Mother of all Mothers. She was the "best of the best." She wanted nothing more in life than to be surrounded by her family and friends and would always say she was the happiest when we were "tous ensemble" (all together). She made a career of being a homemaker raising 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She poured her love into cooking and gardening. She had a fondness for flowers and was blessed with a green thumb. She loved to laugh and sing, especially with the little ones, sharing her French songs. She was especially generous, thoughtful and very loving. We all loved her so much and she will be grealty missed by all.
Suzanne is survived by her sister Michele Costes of France, daughter, Jaqueline Theisen (Roger), son, George Crivello (Laura), daughter, Cathy Thornton (Marc), son, John Pierre Crivello (Sheelagh), and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 50 years, Vincent Crivello in 1999, her brother, Jacques Geronde of France, and son, Antoine Crivello in 2016.
