Douglas A. Brady
July 28, 1964 - June 19, 2017
It is with great sadness & broken hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas A. Brady, 52, June 19, 2017. He passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born July 28, 1964 to Max & Edwina Brady in Alamosa, CO. He grew up in Manassa, CO.
He was currently a Troubleman at PG&E, a job he was very proud of and was a dedicated employee for over 33 years.
He was most proud of being a dad to his daughters. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. His best days were spent at the lake pulling the girls on tubes or wakeboards. He was very involved with their many sporting activities usually, as a coach. He was known to many as "Coach Doug."
He leaves behind his loving wife Sherry and the two most precious girls in his life his adoring daughters Lyndsey & Ashley, his mother Edwina, siblings Steve (Trenna), Maxine, Richard and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Max Brady and nephew Larry Deb Vernon.
Services will be Friday June 23, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1024 Noche Buena, Seaside. Viewing begins at 10:30am with services at 11:30am. Burial to follow at El Carmelo Cemetery in PG.
The family would like thank Dr. Jerome Rubin(Pacific Cancer Care) and Dr. Kevin Kim(San Francisco Bay Oncology) and their staff for the wonderful care and compassion given to Doug and family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to support his two daughters' continued college education (something very important to Doug). Please mail to: Sherry Brady, C/O Glenda Kelley,126 Redondo Ct., Marina. CA 93933.
