The holidays will never be the same! I look out the window and wish your truck would pull up to the yard. I think of you everyday uncle. Seeing that truck in passing on the highway gave me comfort that my rock could protect me. I have great pride knowing you were able to see one of your daughters finish college and the other excel in college. You worked so hard and had a pride like nobody I have seen. You were firm but very loving! My heart hurts so bad. I love and will always miss you. I hope one day I can make you proud.

I'm so sorry that our friend Alfred has left us so soon. He had a God given talent with trees and shrubs. I gave him the name "Alfred Scissorhands" because he could make any tree or shrub look like Disney World. I've known him for sixteen years and considered him a close friend. I'll never forget the kindness he showed my mother when her dying wish was to see her yard done when she came home from the hospital. He had it looking perfect which put a smile on her face. She passed away the next day. I'm very greatful for that.
May God bless each of you. We will all be reunited in heaven. For now, welcome home Alfred! We'll miss you!

Mary...Alfred was an artist with an extraordinary talent to work with God's beauty of the earth...every detail caught his attention...The Bible says "don't worry about anything but with prayer and thanksgiving, present your petitions and the peace that transcends all understanding will guard your heart in Christ Jesus...My prayer for you and your family is to feel that "peace"...I can see Alfred stopping to "trim" the hedges at the Gates of Heaven just before he steps into Eternal Glory with King Jesus...May God Bless You Richly...
