Hodge, Mr. Edward Keith a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM from Rosa Parks Avenue Church of God, 1701 Rosa L. Parks Ave., Montgomery, AL with Rev. James I. Marshall, officiating. Interment will follow in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery. A family hour will be held at Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 4, 2013 at 6:00PM following with the Chapter Invisible Ceremony at 7:00 PM. He attended and graduated from Alabama State University where he joined the Beta Zeta Non-Greater Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi which he loved so dearly. He was also a lifetime member. Edward was an Educator for the Montgomery Public School System until his passing. For over twenty years Edward was an outstanding teacher to better the lives of all the students that he encountered. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Louise Thomas; Arthur C. and Wysinger Glaze; great-grandparents Mose and Minnie Thomas; and cousin Penny Reeves. He leave to cherish his memories: one aunt Mozelle Van Thomas, Montgomery, AL; one uncle Richard Hodge, Chicago, IL; cousins, Harriet Thomas, Robert Thomas, Jackie Reeves, Samuel Powell, Montgomery, AL; Renee Powell, Lynn Lewis, New York. A host of family and friends.

MY Prayers go out the Hodge family. he was a wonderful man and touched the lives of many that he came in contact with. I remember our elementary days.He wasn't my teacher,but he always was a kind person...........R.I.P. MR. HODGE.........

To a very nice person I had the pleasure of knowing while attending St. Jude High School...those were the days when we could laugh, cry and play. God knows how to chose an Angel to join His team..as the song says "There's An Army Rising Up--To Break Every Chain" in the Spirit...we can carry on here...but God wanted you to carry on with HIM...Yours in Christ Pastor Walter E. & Rosa B.
