Dimitri was a hard-nosed businessman with a kind heart. I always said he was a true example of what republican should be, and me being a democrat that's saying something. He got ahead in life and employed others so they could too. I thought of him as an amazingly fair boss and a little bit of a mentor for business sense. He will be dearly missed for my future wife Ashai Faulkner and me Joseph Metzger enjoyed our time being employed by him. We will miss him dearly. He was a good man.

Two words describe Dimitrios; joyful and kind! He was a great man who impacted my entire family in such a positive way. You will be missed, but Heaven just got a wonderful soul.

Dimitrios My Friend: Without reservation, we have all lost a wonderful friend. You were always so upbeat and positive. You loved people and we all felt it. In life, we are not well trained in saying goodbye. Wednesday, you exchanged the temporal for the eternal and joined that great cloud of witnesses promised in scripture.
You are one rare man, just good to the bone marrow.
Until We Meet Again!!

To the entire Dimitri Polizos family and his many many friends:
We have loss a giant of a man who was caring, self-made, worked hard, and a dedicated servant to his family, our city, county, state and our awesome nation. He worked quietly, effectively and was a champion for all. His loving and gentle soul was always thinking about others. Dimitri left a legacy that is a model for all of us to follow.
