Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rock Elvy Baptist Church (Goshen) with Rev. Cromwell Handy, Officiating. Mr. Carter served faithfully as a Deacon Emeritus at the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church, an educator, and a family man. He was a doting father to his two daughter, Chebryll Carter Edwards Sligh (Jerome), of Durham, NC, and Dr. FeRita Perna Carter of Riverside, CA. a loving grandfather to Donovan Keith Edwards of Morrisville, NC, and Brandon Carter Edwards, US Air Force stationed in Osun, Korea, one beloved brother, Leon Carter (Joyce) of Walthourville, GA, and a host of other relatives and friends with Lewis - Robusky Mortuary LLC directing.
