Harold D. Hunsberger Obituary
Harold D. Hunsberger 91, of Telford, PA passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at his residence. He was the loving husband of the late Charlotte M. Hunsberger for 63 years. Harold was born in Line Lexington, PA to the late Earl H., Sr. & Estella (Detweiler) Hunsberger. He graduated from Souderton High School, class of 1939. Harold was employed as a Press Operator for the former American Olean Tile Co. in Lansdale for 25 years. He then worked as a Fuel Pump Cashier at Bergey's in Franconia for 16 years. Harold was very committed to his church and was a life member at Blooming Glen Mennonite. He was a member of the Life with God Ministries and the Clayton Kratz Fellowship. Harold enjoyed shuffleboard, quoits and traveling on bus trips. He volunteered at the Rockhill Mennonite Community and the Souderton Mennonite Homes. Harold distributed church tapes and mail to shut-ins. He was a people person who enjoyed visiting others. Harold is survived by two sons, Mark Hunsberger & wife, Lety of Miami, FL, James Hunsberger & wife, Sharon R. of Souderton, PA; two daughters, Sylvia Shelly & husband, Randy of Telford, PA, Lynette Marksberry & husband, Rick of Oceanside, CA; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Hunsberger Jr., a sister, Kathryn Fulmer and a brother, Willard Hunsberger. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 11:00 am at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church, 713 Blooming Glen Road, Blooming Glen, Pennsylvania 18911 where friends may meet with the family from 10:00 am - 11:00 am.
