Dear Marilyn and family,
How sad I am to hear of Don's passing . He was such a trooper and fought for such a long time. He is an inspiration for other cardiac patients.
I am so glad I had a chance to see him this past summer and love the fact that he never lost that twinkle in his eye or his great sense of humor. He new how to make anyone feel at ease. He was not only a wonderful support for Marilyn in her career, but a loving and doting father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

Have been thinking about Donnie all day today- wish we could have been there to share memories. I am grateful that we stopped in to see you on both our trips out west. Donnie was indeed proud of all of you and graciously shared with us how all of you were doing. I have fond memories of drives to Chambly to spend time with my "cousins". His warm smile and gentle soul will be missed. He will watch over you now just above those Three Sisters he loved so much. Marilyn- a big hug to you. It was hard watching my Mom get through her loss and I know the kids will find it tough to see you in such pain. I am comforted to know they live near by.
Love and hugs to all

So very sorry to hear about your loss – may your heart and soul find comfort at this sad time. Susan and I were childhood friends growing up in Chambly – they were fun times and created so many great memories that stayed with us as we grew up and moved away.
My thoughts are with each of you.
