Dear Lorraine and Jeffrey,
My sincerest condolences to you both and your families on the passing of dear Auntie Iona. May you hold her memory close to your heart. I know I will. Just the other day I was looking at photos of us all from the "50s" on a visit to Ottawa. Can't believe how the time has passed.
Sending my love and thoughts at this very sad time,
Cousin Judy (Rochon) Parsons

Jeff and Family:

My condolences to you. It sometimes seems like yesterday that we were in class together at Assumption, but time does go by and loved ones pass on. Makes one realize just how short our lives really are and how precious life is. I will say a prayer in memory of your mother and to help you handle her passing.

Jeff, Nancy, Lorraine and Bill - I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I can still see her in front of the apartment on Blake, sweeping the sidewalk and keeping the hallway to your apartment immaculate! I have spoken of her often to my girls and they feel as though they knew her as well. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

What a wonderful picture!
That is exactly how we are to remember her. Her smile and fun disposition.
Great memories of times spent on our patio sipping on the rhum and coke!
She will always live on in my heart.
My sincere condolescences.

I'm very sorry to hear of Iona's passing. She'll always be "Mrs Rochon" to me. I have always given her credit for giving me a love of books by getting me golden books every time we went to the store while she was babysitting me. Now I have passed along the same love of reading to my children. I wish I could be there to celebrate her life with everyone else who loved her, but I will be there in my thoughts.
