Hi Jim. Tomorrow is your 70th birthday and I've been thinking so much about you. Wishing you a Happy and Heavenly 70th Birthday surrounded by all your loved ones gone before you. I love you and miss you dearly.
Hugs and Kisses from your sister.

Charles and I met Jim in Puerto Vallarta and then visited with him and other bridge playing friends two years in a row in Montreal. Just this last August, he was telling us of his hopes to visit PV again in 2011. It's still hard to believe that he won't be there in person after all, but those of us who love him - and we are a small legion - shall miss him and salute him.

As is so often the case, we seldom saw one another but you have always come to mind Jim. You will be missed.

My cousin Jim came to visit us in Florida. We really enjoyed our time with him. For years I would keep asking him to come visit again. But he was very busy. But every few years we go to see him when he would come down to visit his mom or later in life just to come to see his Aunt at his brother Brian's home. I would have really liked getting to know him better but with such distance, and life just got in the way. I know for a fact he was the best son a mother could have always doing stuff for her and visiting often. God Bless his soul.

I was Jim's supervisor when he worked at Air Canada in "Linguistic Affairs" almost 30 years ago.
I remember him for his diligent work, his sense of humour and his cheerful countenance. We shared many lunches and fun times together and I am so pleased that he became very successful in his career in real estate.
My sincere condolences to his family and his many friends.

Jim was a class act with a great flair for words. I remember him showing a rather sad listing of mine and by the end of the visit he had me believing that this "dump" was actually a "Palace". Jim was a kind, charming gentleman who always possessed a smile and an encouraging word. My deepest sympathy to his family. May you be spared further sorrow.

In my youth when I would go to Cornwall to see my relatives I can always remember the trip being extra special when cousin Jim would come home for a visit.
Now in my adult years the visits continued to be special when Jim and his sister Myrna would meet up at his brother - Brian's place. I will always remember the stories he would tell and how he had such a great sense of humour.
Jim will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers goes out to the Lynch family in this difficult time .

Jim (my cousin) was a kind and caring person. As a toddler of 2 years old or so, my parents (before having children of their own) always took him around with them like he was their own. My sister and I enjoyed the many visits with Jim over the years when we went down to Cornwall (from Toronto). He will be missed. My condolences to his family and close friends...especially those who were with him right to the end. I'm sure it meant a lot to Jim.

June 1998 The Jims and Elsie

?Jim's death marks the end of an era for the Hanson family. He and Jim were the most attentive of friends to our mother Elsie and it was through that friendship that my sisters and I came to know them both. The attached photograph is on the occasion of my mother's 90th birthday in 1998 and is the last time they saw each other, although they kept in touch until her death in 2001.
We are all the poorer for Jim's death but richer for having known him. Let's take heart from the fact that he was a great guy and well loved by so many.

I will remember Jim as a consummate gentleman. Even in the last few weeks of his life, in his hospital room, he was a gracious host to the people who came to pay their respects, conscientiously trying to make them feel as tease with his condition, and even trying to draw everyone into a conversation. He was respectful, fair and fun to be with. Like many others who know him, I am far the richer for it.

I will dearly miss my good friend Jim. He was a great business partner. A partner I had chosen because he was such a class act… I had a blast working with him and it was the beginning of our friendship. He was part of virtually every special occasion celebrated at my home for the last 15 years, as well as every Christmas Eve. It is very sad and feels very strange that neither he nor his partner “little Jim” will be there with us this Christmas or ever again. My condolences and deepest sympathy to his Family.

Jack and I met Jim on his first "long stay" in Puerto Vallarta when he was sharing an apartment with John Shannon. We partnered several times at the bridge table and shared many meals together. One of the laughs we share is that he has the same name as my ex husband......
Jim will be so missed by Jack and I and those who got to know him. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.

I would like to offer my condolences to Jim family. Jim sold my house in NDG 14 years ago along with my Aunt`s. I always found him to be extremely friendly and ready to help. When he sold my aunt house he was the only agent who would guaranty a minimum price or he would not charge a commission. Not only did he sell the house in 6 weeks but we got more than he guaranteed price. For that, and much more he will been remembered fondly in our hearts.
