Dear Gay, Jenny and Lela,

I will be sending a written note of condolence to you (via a charity).

In addition, I wanted to pay tribute to your brother who helped me as a teenager with a problem that was so difficult for me at the time: my skin. He got me pointed in the right direction and I was able to get help for my condition. I will always be grateful to him for this.

Dear Tony,Nikki,Lela and Jennie,

After reading the many tributes about my cousin, Peter, the common thread that runs through them is that he made a difference for good in the world. I am reminded of what was said many years ago about our grandfather, Dr. Emmett Mullally. Goggie and Peter both practiced Medicine in the spirit of the inscription on the entrance to the Paris College of Surgeons----"We dressed his wounds--God healed him." I believe that Peter and grandfather are together now with the Great Physician "...in regions blest...in His keeping, and at rest." I hope my words bring some comfort to you as you try to manage during this difficult time.

Patricia Leslie Skelton I've been blessed to know some incredibly kind, gentle men who trod so gently on this Earth and on our hearts. Peter knew this from Baba, his Grand Father & his own father Malcolm and my Dad, his Uncle Murray Skelton. He is keeping company with all these men now. I strive to walk as tenderly in my life as this sort of legacy should and can be honored.

Dear Gruner family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences. Dr. Gruner was my family physician (and a very steadying influence) through my late teens and early young adulthood in the late 70's. He always took the time to listen and encourage my ambition of a medical career. His compassion, care, wisdom, humor and equanimity were all attributes I continue to try and emulate through my working life. I have no doubt he will be deeply missed but I hope the positive impact he had on so many both professionally and personally will comfort you.
My thoughts and prayers and with you.
Sincerely,
Suzanne Hall-Losier
