Wise beyond her years. I remember doing an oral presentation in French class with Sue in grade 8 on the Hawaiian Islands. She was fascinated with Hawaii and her enthusiasm was contagious.
I recently attended a Boston Red Sox game for the first time at Fenway. Sue would be proud.
My deepest sympathies to Mark and her family and friends.

I am so sorry for you. I went to school with Carolyne and Susie was her baby sister. I am a nurse too and I know about cancer. She is no longer in pain let THAT be your strength now . Missing someone we love is the hardest thing we have to do in our lifetime but it is all worth it in the the scheme of things. If we don't love who are we?

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

a headstone in Ireland

Thinking about good times I had with Susan when we were kids..., like the time we couldn't stop laughing when we had to make a cave out of clay for a grade school project, and a little clay people family to go with it (all anatomically correct). I kept those clay people for a long time, as they brought back such a fun and happy memory. Although I moved away, and they got lost in the shuffle, I will never forget that day, and I will never forget Sue.

Dear Mark and Family, Billy Joel had it right when he sang "only the good die young". All I can say is that Sue must be needed more somewhere else! Some of the best years of my life were playing volleyball with Sue and you Mark. A nicer person I have never met. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
