Timothy LA BORDE Obituary
In Montreal, on February 22, 2016, Timothy La Borde passed peacefully near those he loved, at the McGill hospital Palliative Care Unit. Timothy leaves behind his sons: Jasen (Suzy) and Maurice, stepson Nicolas (Patricia), his beloved partner in life Louise, his grandchildren: Frederika, Ashima and Khalil, his sisters Lily (Motilal) and Kathleen, his brothers Steffan and Michael-Krishna. Predeceased by his sisters Sumin and Ramona, several nieces (including Stacy and Dhalia) and nephews and good colleagues. He was born in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, to Beatrice Morris and Peter La Borde. Though a, "True Island Boy" Timothy came to Canada in 1969 to Montreal where he spent the rest of his life. Timothy will be remembered for his dedication to his sons and family, his love of good food, good company, professionalism in his career, and instilling in his sons a curiosity about the world around them. The funeral will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kane and Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie blvd, (corner Isabella), Montreal.
