Abraham GOLD Obituary
Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at the age of ninety-three. Beloved husband of the late Hannah Aron and the late Harriet Margolese. Devoted father and father-in-law of Sari Goldberg and the late Kenny Goldberg, David and Rona Gold of Toronto. Stepfather to Dr. Richard Margolese (Jackie). Grandpa Abe to five wonderful grandchildren and great-grandpa to twelve adoring great- grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Goldie Shapiro and Jake (Louis) Gold. Dear brother-in-law and brother of Laura and the late Natie Gold. Abe was an exceptional man, who will be sadly missed by both family and community. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, August 21 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha B'nai Jacob Congregation Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri St. Shiva at his daughter's home. Contributions in his memory may be made to the "Abe Gold Memorial Fund" c/o the Miriam Foundation, (514) 345-1300.
