To the family of Pierre. I have been trying to connect with him. I just learned of his passing. I am so sad for your loss. Pierre was a dear friend of mine in university and a great part of our wedding in the wedding party and MC. We are so sad to hear the news.

Dear Cindy, Michelle, Marc and Pierre's greater family,
I had the pleasure of meeting Pierre many years ago professionally and had recently reconnected through a mutual friend because of his message to 'Win the Day'. I was diagnosed back in June with stage IV prostate cancer with a tumour that had severely compressed my spinal cord. Our friend Susan passed along Pierre's inspiration to win the day and it has become my daily inspiration as well as that of my family and friends. I have been responding well to treatment and have had minimal side effects from chemotherapy I attribute in large part to a positive outlook.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I wanted you to know that Pierre's daily inspiration gives me and my family incredible strength and a positive outlook to get the most out of life each day as I battle cancer and regain my full mobility. I will forever be grateful for his inspiration to always 'Win the Day'.

Cindy and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family during this very difficult time. Though I have only known Pierre for 6 years here at Vocera, he has been an amazing inspiration both personally and professionally. It's an incredible understatement to say that he'll be missed, he will never be forgotten. I, as many, have adopted his motto, Win the Day! All the peace, strength and comfort to you at this time!

So very sad to hear of Pierre's passing. Our heartfelt condolences to the Normandeau family. It was simply an honor & a pleasure to have faced off against a true gentleman during our hockey years as youngsters. Tonight we will dim the lights on Daisy Cr. here on the Prairies in honor of you Mr. Pierre and celebrate your words to "Win The Day", and yet again you are gathering speed. Thank you for the memories Pierre.

Cindy, Michelle, Marc,
I met Pierre while at Octel in the early 90's. We had an instant bond, and Pierre was like a brother to me. Mentor, friend, and an inspiration to all who met him. What a journey for an amazing family man and friend. We are deeply saddened with the news of Pierre's passing. The world has lost an amazing man. His lifelong battle of this disease was an inspiration to so many. Pierre was a gentle giant and I often marvelled at his positive outlook, generous personality, and willingness to help so many throughout his life. The memories will never fade, and my friend will never be forgotten. Love and Life describe Pierre. Of course he coined the phrase, WTD, and this will be guiding light for all of us who had the pleasure of knowing this man. Thoughts and Prayers are with the entire family. We miss him dearly. Love and strength to the Normandeau's.
