1963 - 2017
Passed away suddenly on February 17, 2017. Beloved son of Antoinetta and Giovanni Lanni; cherished brother to Anthony (Nicoletta), Rocco (Gina), Alberto (Anda), Giulia (Jeff ) and Claudia. He is also dearly loved by his nieces, nephews as well as other family and friends. In memory of our Michael who was sweetness and kindness personified– you will be greatly missed. One of a kind, unique. A beautiful soul. A delicate creature. Loved by all. Family will receive condolences at the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc H9B 2A6 (514) 685-3344 on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Visitation on Monday, February 27, 2017, starting at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service in the Rideau chapel at 11:00 a.m. You are welcome to sign our book of condolences at www.rideaumemorial.com.

Although, I did not have the chance to know him as an adult, I remember the Lanni family from my childhood, and our summertime visits to Montreal. Michael was a warm,friendly,compassionate and full of life person. We were not privileged to know him for a long time but the few times we shared were precious and we will always remember his kind words and his fun ways with people.
