I will never forget my days of growing up on Elyria Ave. in Lorain, Ohio. Next door to the Charltons. There was Gerald Charlton, who was good at Marbles. Dorothy and her sister "Cue ball" who could walk on those rocks in the alley, in her bare feet. If I had enough time, I could name everyone. Coco was that one had the same birthday as me. My mother loved her voice and wanted Coco to be a star in Hollywood. God bless CoCo and thanks for everything.

Our deepest sympathy to the Charlton Family for the loss of an anchor in your lives. We lived next door to the "first" family of Charltons on Elyria Avenue. Coco and I grew up together and became good friends. She was my first friend to travel to Buffalo, New York with our family during school vacations. Our entire family was very sad to learn of your loss. I remember, clearly, the days of singing on our front porch on Elyria Avenue. For those who are/were old enough to remember those days... Betty, Tillie, Carolyn, Nattie Boy, Piggy, Ronnie, Dorothy(RIP), Cherry Ann, Charles, Joseph (If, I remember correctly) I say to you and Coco's children and grand children to remember that God has blessed you with so many wonderful memories. It's going to be difficult, but let the memories shine through your heart whenever you are feeling sad. We will keep you in prayer.
May God Bless,
From Mookie (Ramona Adams), Gerald Adams, Donald Adams, Bonnie, and Gillie. Buffalo, NY
