Travis J Duecy (Sandefur) 34 of Pittsburg Kansas passed away on August 27, 2018 after losing a battle with addiction and depression. He was born August 19, 1984 in Chanute KS. Travis was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hiking and camping. Travis is survived by two Daughters, Athena Sandefur of Paola KS and Adaline Sandefur of Whitefish MT. Parents Alan and Heather Duecy of Oklahoma City OK and Jim Sandefur of Indianapolis Indiana, Siblings Kristin Hutto (Anthony) of Golden City MO, Dakota Duecy (Brittany) of Gebze Turkey and Derek Sandefur of Indiana. Grandparents Martha Duecy of St. Paul KS, Sandra Kelley of Golden City MO and several extended family members. Travis was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother Helen Wolford Pittsburg KS and Grandfather Dwain Duecy Erie KS. Travis will be remembered and missed by all family and friends. Private family services will be at a later date.

TO Duecy: I can remember seeing you ride all over town on your bike and the smile you carried with you despite any problems. Im so sorry you gave into the monster you carried with you.
