Lori Cooper, age 59, of Morris, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at her late residence surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Joliet, the daughter of the late James Booklund and Judy Rinke, residing in Morris most of her life. Lori was a driver of the Senior Bus for the City of Morris. She was the Vice President of Hands of Dignity and Hope Outreach. Lori was an avid woodworker and her grandchildren were her world.

Survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Jeff Cooper of Morris; her children, Jason (Elizabeth)Halstead of Ottawa, Jeremy (Patricia) Halstead and Jaki (late Bryon) Paszek both of Morris; eight grandchildren, Jacob, Emily and Lainey Halstead, Samuel Halstead, Dejah Hendrickson, Casey Ness, Avery and Alyssa Paszek; her sister, Mary Altiery of Joliet; her brother, Barney Creasy of Morris and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation for Lori A. Cooper will be held Wednesday, January, 20, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until time of services at 6:00 p.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive in Morris. In accordance with the Illinois guidelines, a 10 person capacity rotation will be followed, face masks are required, and social distancing will be observed. As it was Lori's request, cremation rites will be accorded following the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to Hands of Dignity and Hope Outreach would be appreciated.
