Patricia A. Diederich, 83, of Morris, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Born December 20, 1937 in Ottawa, IL, she was the daughter of the late Basil and Rosa R. "Ruth" (Donohoo) Boren.

Patricia grew up in Morris, attending Morris schools and graduating from Morris Community High School with the Class of 1955. She married John Diederich on December 28, 1958. He preceded her on February 27, 2018.

After high school, Patricia worked for many years in the front office of Dr. Tratt's Clinic in Morris. She retired after working 39 years in various front office roles at Sponge Cushion, Inc. in Morris.

Through the years, Patricia enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and taking trips with her husband to casinos in Tunica, MS and Las Vegas to play cards. She also enjoyed playing card games with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children: Dave Diederich and Tricia (Michael) Kramer; grandchildren: Josh (Ellaina) Diederich, Amanda (Eric) Anderson, and Meghan Kramer. Also, many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and two brothers, Lorris B. and Giles E. Boren.

No public services will be held for Patricia. The family will celebrate her life privately.
