Effie Mae Glitch Effie Mae Glitch, 81, of Victor, passed away on Dec. 24, 2019, at her home. Effie was born in Port Jervis, N.Y., and later moved to Rochester where she graduated from Monroe High School. Effie was married to Thomas J Glitch in July, 1956. They were married until Tom's passing in 1983. Effie had several jobs over the years. Most notably she owned and ran The Donut Hole Diner in Victor for over 20 years. Effie is survived by her children, William Glitch (Dale Ann), Brian Glitch (Elsie Antonowicz), Cheryl Joerger (Scott) and Charlene Dehn (Kenneth); son-in-law, Robert Johnston Sr.; grandchildren, Chad Glitch (Emelie), Ryan Glitch (Sarah), Corie Harris (Brandon), Jessie Glitch (Devon Flora), Bryn Joslyn, Casey Norris (Kyle), Robert Johnston Jr. (Katie), Thomas Joerger and Meghan Joerger; and great-grandchildren, Piper Glitch, Alana Nolan, Wyatt Nolan, Charlotte Joslyn, Amelia Harris, Donovan Harris and Aiden Johnston. She is also survived by her siblings, Sharon Conrad (Ronald), Muriel Tedesco (Joseph), Beth McCullough (Jerry Koresko) and Mark McCullough (Thea Sauer). Effie was preceded in death by her parents, Muriel and Francis McCullough; husband, Thomas Glitch; daughter, Brenda Johnston; and brothers, William McCullough and Bruce McCullough. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 4, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, 301 W. Main St, Victor. So sorry to hear of Effie's passing. She was always so kind and will be sorely missed by all that new her. She and Charlie taught me how to play Euchre which I have beed playing for over 35 years. God bless the Glitch family in your time of sorrow.

I remember Effie when I visited Victor many years ago & stopped at the donut hole for coffee. She knew my all my brothers but never knew there was a girl in the family.
