Annie Elizabeth Ray Hunsinger (Beth) of Midland, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 5, 2018. Beth was born on September 29, 1929 in San Angelo, Texas to Annie and Paul Ray. She married Arthur D. Hunsinger on July 13, 1945 in Comyn, Texas. They moved to Midland in 1951. Beth was a devout Christian who enjoyed sewing, quilting, and painting. She was an active member in the BBC Club of Bellview Baptist Church where she had been a member since 1965. She volunteered at the Midland Baptist Crisis center and was a member of the VFW #7208 Auxiliary supporting military veterans. Beth was a loving, creative, stay-at-home mom until 1959 when she entered into banking at Midland National Bank. She retired in 1979. She and Arthur D. then started a new career of wood crafting. They built, painted, and traveled to different craft shows while enjoying their time together. Beth is preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years Arthur D., her parents and her siblings Cecil, Truitt, Junius, and Mary Ruth. Beth has left a Christ-loving living legacy of survivors: son, Ray Hunsinger and wife Donna of Atlanta Georgia; daughter, Margaret Cheatham of Midland, daughter Debbie May and husband Jay of Midland, along with 8 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. There will be a family visitation on Friday, August 10, ,2018 from 5 to 7 pm at Ellis Funeral Home. Beth's funeral will be at Bellview Baptist Church, 1710 N. Big Spring St. in Midland on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10 am with graveside service to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Beth's family wishes to thank Hospice of West Texas for their compassion and loving care of her and all the kindness they showed. We want to thank all of our friends, family, and our church family of Bellview Baptist Church for their support, kindness, and continued prayers.
