She had an artist's eye and was thankful for the beauty God created. Some of her great grandchildren are starting to show their inherited artistic abilities in their Crayola and marker masterpieces. She loved her kind and loving grandkids with all her heart. She loved hearing about the talents of the great grandchildren. Those talents included singing, acting, dancing, running marathons, sports and marching band concerts. Shirley was a member of the Myrtle Sunday School dep't and former member of the Dorcas Sunday School dep't, both at First Baptist Church in Midland, TX. Her greatest joy was knowing that her family knew Jesus Christ.
