MOUNT AIRY — Mrs. Sandra Beasley Holyfield, age 56, of Mount Airy, went home to be with her precious lord and savior on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Mrs. Holyfield was born on July 15, 1959 in Surry County to Lowell and Malzie Casstevens Beasley. Mrs. Holyfield lovingly served the Surry County District Attorney's office as a victim's advocate as long as her health permitted. She is survived by the love of her life and her devoted caregiver, her husband, Craig Holyfield, of the home; her mother, Malzie C. Beasley, of Mount Airy; two special sisters and brother-in-law, Teresa Richardson, of Mount Airy and Debra and Roger Anderson of Waynesboro, VA; one special brother, Ronald Beasley and wife Lynn of Mount Airy; nieces, Emily Richardson and Stephanie Haymore and husband Brad; one nephew, Austin Beasley; and one great nephew, Hudson Haymore. She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law, Una and Jack Holyfield of Dobson; brother-in-law, Marty Holyfield and wife Christy of Dobson; and niece and nephew, Hannah and Nathan Holyfield. Mrs. Holyfield was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Beasley and niece, Ashley Anderson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Westside Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Johnson and Reverend Larry Stone officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Westside Baptist Church. I will miss you Sandra, the world was a better place with you here, and Heaven is sweeter with you there. You will always be special to me and my family.
