Passed away peacefully at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in her 85th year. Doreen was the beloved wife of the late Donald Wallace Philip (2007). Loving mother of Karen Lunau, and Sandra Easson (George). Cherished grandmother of Cindy Lunau (Jeremy), and Laura Easson (Jordan). Dear sister of Ed Beaty (Doreen). Doreen was a retired public school teacher and so full of life, laughter and music. She was a Choir Director and also had a Ukulele Band. Over the years her music brought so much solace and fun to people of all ages. Doreen touched the hearts of not only her family but all the friends she made along the way. She will be greatly missed. Due to current restrictions, a private family service is being held at Cavill Funeral Home and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest in the Mickle Cemetery, Gravenhurst. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation greatly appreciated.
