I'm a retired high school music teacher, and I have been playing and studying one of Lennie's books "Developing Jazz Concepts" for well over 20 years. The music music has never become boring after all those years. The music world has lost a giant with his passing.

I have listened to Lennie since the early 60's in the old quintet and octet albums then as a major film composer. Still have the vinyls and CD's. I'll keep him alive in my ears. Rest in peace, Lennie. . .
