Dominick A. Rossetti, 87, of Piscataway, formerly of Port Reading, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 after a brief illness. Dominick was born in Altino, Italy and was the son of the late Nicola and Anna Rossetti. He proudly served an enlistment in the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was formerly a rate clerk with Hmieleski Trucking of South Plainfield. He was a very loving and dedicated husband and father to his five children. Dominick and his beloved late wife Mary of 61 years were avid campers. They belonged to the Raritan Valley Rangers Camping Club. He enjoyed touring the country with the club.

Mr. Rossetti was predeceased by his loving wife, Mrs. Mary Banko Rossetti. Surviving are his children and their spouses, Carol and Dennis Bachman, Joanne and Joseph Demko, Mary Ann Rossetti, Dominick Jr. and Elaine Rossetti, Michael and Kim Rossetti; his grandchildren, Lisa Marie Mc Laughlin, James Carroll Jr., Stefanie Zanetti, Michele Ann Demko, Dominick Rossetti III, Alyssa Rossetti, Alfred Sigismondi, Philip Rossetti and Alexis Rossetti and his great grandchildren, Jillian Mc Laughlin, Jacob Zanetti and Isabella Sigismondi.

Funeral services will begin Saturday 9:00 am from the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854 followed by a 10:00 am funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Piscataway. Interment will be in the Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Visitation hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home.
